Hi, my name is Clare and I’m a 41-year-old marketing consultant turned personal trainer with a passion for all things health and wellness.

Exercise has been a part of my life for as long as I remember but don’t be fooled, that doesn’t mean I’ve been hitting the gym since I could squat, it just means that I have always enjoyed ‘moving’ whether that be swimming, aerobics, running, gym based PT sessions, home based PT sessions or outdoor bootcamps – I’ve done it all. But it was only when I became a mum and felt I was losing my body confidence that I realised the true benefit of working with a great PT.

Being a mum is the hardest job in the world and its made harder by the pressure to shrink back to our pre-baby weight within weeks of giving birth. For me it wasn’t so much about the weight, it was about feeling myself again and re-gaining some of my pre-pregnancy energy!

Investing time and money in training with a PT changed my life and although that sounds rather dramatic, it’s true. Not only did I find ‘myself’ I actually found a stronger, fitter and more confident version of me. A version of me that felt so passionate about the journey I had been on, that I re-trained so I could help other women feel as amazing as I do.

To me, training has become much more than a way to drop a dress size or earn what I eat, it’s about feeling strong and confident in my own skin, it’s about having some time each week for me and it’s about being mentally and physically as fit as possible. I want to be the best version of myself and I’ve learned that an active lifestyle is the way to achieve it.

Having a PT has been key to my own personal development over the past few years and I cannot wait to share my knowledge with you. I’m not a size 0 - never have been and never want to be, life is far too short for that - but I’ve found my happy place through fitness and eating well (most of the time). No-one is going to tell me I can’t have that slice of cake or glass of wine! So, whether you’ve never set foot in a gym or taken part in a PT session before, or you feel your training has plateaued and you’re looking for some new inspiration – you’ve come to the right place.

My mission is to help you feel as good as I do, because at 41 I can honestly say I am the fittest I have ever been and it feels great! I want to show you how amazing your body is and what you can achieve with a little direction, motivation and support. There is so much more to personal training than just getting you through a workout - it’s about understanding your own individual goals and supporting you every step of the way. It’s not something you have to do alone, we’ll do it together!

Clare is a fab PT. I train with her at home with my little one running around and it’s great. Fun workouts that continually challenge me. Couldn’t recommend her highly enough!”
